Every article I wrote meant effort, curiosity and at least one discovery.
I met writers, teachers, scientists, workers, peasants, company directors, mothers, fathers, people who were complaining about something and so on. And I met myself, because sometimes it was difficult to know how exactly to describe a fact or to catch everything that it was relevant in a limited space. It was in my native language. In English is even more complicated. Nuances deserve always attention.
The meeting- the clash I would say- with oneself is very difficult in these situations, because the intention is a masterpiece and one has only one piece of information.
